What Food Producers Have Been Hiding From You...

Most people around the world are not even aware of what GM foods are -- and that labeling is not even required. The citizens of many countries in Europe, Asia and other parts of the World are pro-actively rejecting Genetically Modified (GM) products and crops. Watch this documentary and find out why you should be actively concerned.

Follow This Link and Watch the Documentary Movie. It is approximately 1 Hour and 29 minutes long. Believe me it is well worth the time. This post is not intended to frighten you. It is intended to educate you so that you can make choices...

Our Ancestors Had It Right… Live Whole Food… And Lots of It!

I can only imagine what it was like 200 years ago living in America. None of the self created stresses we seem to actually thrive on today. Back then the stresses were real, like keeping food on the table, a roof over your head, having a bed to sleep in, and clothes to wear.

But even with the constant stress of providing those basic necessities for their families, when it came to eating, they had it right. Live Whole Food was the staple everyone lived on. Fruits, Vegetables, Nuts and Berries made up most of our forefathers diets. Families had gardens and Farming was prevalent across the country. Almost every community had fresh produce available at the general store or at local farmers markets in the larger cities.

Illness and disease seem almost common and expected in America today. Many of them were unheard of or did not even exist prior to the last century. It makes me wonder just how much of it is diet related. Specifically how much of it can be attributed to the lack of Good Organic Whole Foods in the American diet today. It is my opinion based on my research that the majority of it is poor diet related.

So if you believe it is poor diet related, what do you do? You try your best to change your diet to include 75% to 90% Fresh Organic Whole Foods. It makes sense, and it sounds easy enough. But if you have ever tried to actually do that, you’ll find it’s not as easy as it sounds.
When you research where Fresh Produce in your local grocery stores comes from, and how it’s grown, it almost makes you want to eliminate it from your diet. The majority of it is a week or more old before it makes it to your local stores. And the farms that produce most of it grow it by using massive amounts of chemical based fertilizers and spray it with toxic bug killing chemicals. So how much of that ends up being ingested by us? They will tell you the levels are well below concern for human consumption. So what does that mean?

To me it means that there are toxins in the food, just not enough to kill you, right away anyway. Of course many of those chemicals and toxins build up in your system over decades of ingestion. But you don’t see that posted anywhere. OK, so what do we do about it?

I recommend buying or checking out this book at the library: “Rodale's All-new Encyclopedia of Organic Gardening: The Indispensable Resource for Every Gardener”, By Fern Marshall Bradley, Barbara W. Ellis. There is a wealth of information on the importance of Live Organic Whole Foods. If you go to page 238, you can educate yourself on what kind of questions we should be asking about produce at the local markets. Warning: Educating yourself on these matters will create some healthy stress in your life. Do It!

Well, we can only try our best to seek out local Fresh Organically Grown Whole Foods. That can be done in most areas of the country during certain times of the year. But it has to be a constant quest, and usually not as convenient as running down to the local market. It’s not that it can’t be done in most cases, but it actually must become part of your lifestyle to daily or at least weekly seek out those sources of local Organically Grown Live Whole Foods. That is why so many people today are seeking out live superfoods to supplement thier diets. And we know in the long run, our lifetime, it will be well worth it.

That’s if for now. Just writing this short journal entry has just inspired me to write more. I have a lot to share, so expect more good information soon.
